Take a Tour of the Lotus Garden

The Lotus Garden offers guided tours for groups interested in learning more about the garden. During the tours, visitors will travel the paths of the garden and see how the 28 individual plots contribute to the garden’s overall beauty and wonder. Visitors will also learn about the origins of the Lotus Garden and how it has evolved over the past 30 years. We adapt our tours to accommodate visitors of all ages, from pre-kindergarteners to retirees, including schools, daycare, camp, gardening and city tour groups.

Some of the organizations who have enjoyed our tours include New York Sports Club, Morningside Montessori School, Urban Sketchers, North American Rock Garden Society and the United Federation of Teachers.

The Lotus Garden is not a venue for events that could just as well occur elsewhere and/or are of a commercial nature, such as private parties, activity groups, classes, personal training, etc.

(Regrettably, the Lotus Garden is not wheelchair accessible.  Access to the garden includes climbing a flight of stairs.)

If your organization is interested in a group tour, please contact us!
